Having grown up on Cape Cod, I treasure Coastal living. I graduated from Barnstable High School and then went off to Tulane University in New Orleans, getting a BS before continuing on for my Ph.D. at the University of Texas in Anthropology. After I finished school, I married my husband, who is also from the Cape. We moved back home where I taught at Bridgewater State College and the University of Southern Maine, and worked for an environmental planning firm. My husband, Shawn Budd, has a video production company in Yarmouth.
I grew up in the town of Barnstable, have lived in Yarmouth, and recently moved to Sandwich. Everywhere I have lived, I have enjoyed cooking and entertaining, sailing, and exercise; and of course my young daughter, Ursula.
As a result of my own moves, my grasp of land use regulation, and my appreciation of historic architecture I choose to become a realtor in 2000. It is wonderful to meet so many people while working. My dedication and enthusiasm to real estate have contributed to my success and my on-going relationships with clients long after they have purchased their home.
